Pretty much everyone enjoys a nice soak in a hot-tub.  It's much fun to either soak away the day's sore muscles by yourself, or enjoy some wine and companionship in a relaxing setting.

The problem that many people who are the owners, not the users of hot-tubs are the cost of running them.  The cost of the chemicals, and more importantly, the cost of heating them.  Not to mention that if you want to take it to your cabin in the mountains, you're relegated to the soft-sided propane-fired versions.

 Not so anymore.

Well, we've all dreamed of creating a remote-controlled car..  Not one of those little ones you see in stores, but a real, full-size one.  Well, take a buncha guys, a 1982 Camry, and a desert, and the possibilities are endless..

Well, I don't know how many times as a kid I'd dreamed of a snowmobile car.. Four little rubber doughnuts still don't make any sense in the winter..

Well, meet the Saskatchewan Nash Metropolitan Snowmobile. 700cc's of winter goodness..

Now someone just has to make a Viper Snowmobile.. Mmmm... V10...

Mmm.. Robotic Sentry gun.. For under $50... Very cool...

Trust me. This goes under "insane engineering" more so that under cars...

Just too cool. :)  Rumour has it that there was like 606 takes required for everything to work "just right"..

Ok, I don't understand my obsession with flashlights.. I mean, it's not a new thing for me. It's been with me since I was a little boy. There was something about that portable source of light that made the nightime walks to the barn both a bit more reassuring for what it let me see, and at the same time, much scarier for what it didn't.
